All pre-owned designer handbags are shipped from Switzerland. Shipping within Switzerland is free of charge and insured. Orders outside Switzerland may be subject to customs charges, which must be covered by you.
At Secondhandbags, authenticity comes first. Every Bag is carefully inspected - by our network of experienced brand experts and, in addition, with state-of-the-art technology such as the AI-based app Entrupy.
This allows us to combine expertise with artificial intelligence to reliably detect counterfeits and protect your purchase as best we can.
Every Bag in our collection not only tells a story - it is also 100% authentic. Guaranteed.
And because we stand behind our authenticity guarantee, we also take full responsibility in the unlikely event of an error: should any item ever turn out not to be authentic, we will not only refund the full purchase price, but also pay a bonus equal to the item’s value. This promise applies to every Bag purchased from us - whether CHF 500 or CHF 25'000.
A promise we have never had to fulfil - and one we have no intention of ever having to fulfil.
You must contact us within 14 days and state the reason for return. The return must be sent within this period, with the postmark date being decisive. As soon as we have received the product in the same Condition as at the time of sale and with the tag attached , we will trigger the refund in the system and you will be informed by email.
We have a global network of suppliers. Due to customs processing, authentication procedures and a final, thorough cleaning, it can take up to 5-10 business days for the item to be ready for shipment. Important: For advance payment orders, the entire process only begins once payment has been received.
We have a large network of contacts and dealers. Without overpromising, we can say: we can source almost any handbag for you. For particularly rare models, however, it may take a little longer. Just send us a quick message via our chat bubble, by email or WhatsApp – we’ll be happy to help.

In some cases, we have unworn display models. You will find a detailed description on each product page.
As soon as the Bag is on its way to you, you will receive a confirmation email that also includes a tracking number. We ship with Swiss Post and internationally with DHL. Your parcel is insured until it has reached you.
Ordering from Secondhandbags is very straightforward.
Here’s how it works: Choose a brand from the menu or search directly for your desired bag. Found your favourite piece? On the product page, you’ll find all details about the Condition, price, delivery time, condition grade and much more.
Add the handbag to your basket and proceed to checkout. You can order either as a guest or with a customer account – all you need is an email address and your delivery address. You can pay by credit card, PayPal, Twint, Klarna, purchase on invoice or instalments.
Ordered?
Voilà – a confirmation email is already on its way to you. Your Bag will be carefully prepared in our Swiss logistics centre and dispatched. As soon as it is on its way, you will receive a shipping confirmation with the tracking number by email.
We have closed our boutique in Zurich until further notice. Individual bags can be viewed in our office upon request. However, we do not keep all bags in stock on site. To arrange an appointment, please contact us at: info@secondhandbags.ch.
When ordering on invoice, you can pay the invoice very conveniently in full or in instalments – you only decide once you receive the invoice. The payment term is always 14 days.
We work with our financing partner PowerPay for this. They take care of all debt collection and dunning matters and also carry out an identity and credit check.
Important note:
As fraudulent invoice orders have unfortunately been made repeatedly (different delivery address, hacked postal account), for orders of CHF 1000.- or more an additional confirmation by SMS code is required.
Full amount
For the transfer, please use the blank payment slip and enter the full invoice amount.
Instalment payment
Would you prefer to pay the amount in instalments?
- Enter the desired payment amount on the blank payment slip.
- At least 10% of the item value per instalment.
- With partial payments, you will receive a new invoice every month until everything is paid.
- The outstanding amount increases by 1% per month.
- You can choose the amount payable for each instalment again.
- For each invoice, PowerPay additionally charges a processing fee of CHF 2.90 (Post) or CHF 1.90 (email).
For purchase on invoice, we work with Powerpay.ch. There may be various reasons for a rejection:
- You are not yet of legal age.
- You cannot be found at the address provided.
- Your personal credit limit available at that time is not sufficient.
- You are in arrears with payments.
For data protection reasons, in most cases we do not receive any further information from PowerPay. Please contact PowerPay directly here for further information.
